Since graduation in 2008, Chris has freelanced and worked with consultancies on a range of design and engineering projects, including the engineering of kinetic sculptures, the systems design of large scale light instillations, and the commercialization of products for mass production including his own graduate project with Brunel University. Recently his personal and collaborative work has focused more towards humanitarian issues.
His passion for design and all things mechanical, in particular, comes from a lifetime of building things. His 'hands-on' approach to design has brought to life many unusual pieces of experimental design. He is also a keen photographer and mountaineer, to view recent photos visit flickr.
Chris is currently taking a joint postgraduate course in Industrial Design Engineering (MA + MSc Double Masters) at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. Amongst the projects undertaken in the first year he has worked with the BBC and Coca-Cola on commercial projects organized by the RCA.
